Auto selection of prize cards

I’ve noticed on this new client if you don’t select your prize cards and the timer runs down you forfeit your prize cards! Old PTCGO would time you down and select two random cards. Anyone else notice this. Also if it’s the last prize card!
I wonder if the devs didn’t ever play the old version and just ignored things that just make sense. So many bugs and just basic QOL stuff these Boards and major influencer’s are asking for and nothing is changed.
