Need to fix card draw mechanic

Something needs to be done with the card draw mechanic. We only have 20 slots. So, our decks have to be highly curated. Currently, I’m having to run 2 Poké Balls, 2 Professor’s Research, 1 Copycat, 1 May, 1 Lisia, and 1 Serena (sometimes 2 copies of either Copycat or May) just to get the cards I need out and into play! If you run anything other than basic pokemon, then add 2 Rare Candies to that list. That’s up to 11 cards—55% of our deck—spent on cards just to try and get out the cards we actually need! That’s absolutely ridiculous.

55% of trainer cards isn't ridiculous lol

What they could probability improve would be encreasing the total number of deck cards to 22 or so.

I think if they build a mechanic that allows the user to shuffle their own deck of cards - instead of leaving it to their algorithm - that could possibly help. Right now it’s just chance.

One thing is there's no specific search for Stg 1/2 so it can be difficult to get evolutions in play quickly

55% trainer cards which are solely dedicated to getting other cards out. That does not include whichever other trainers you may need such as Sabrina, Cyrus, Lillie, etc. Factor those in plus tools, items, and stadiums, and we only have ~4-6 slots for actual pokemon.

Yeah, because heaven forbid the game be improved! Being bothered about any single thing in the game means one shouldn’t speak up, but rather just quit instead. 🙄

If you had 15 Pokemon in a 20 cards deck the game play would be super inconsistent and boring... the role of trainer cards it's mostly to make it easier to find the Pokemon/cards you need, making the deck more consistent... and the other trainer cards make it more strategic and fun to play.

If it would be like 80% pokemon cards in the deck it would be extremely boring and predictable.

Also no true search mechanic for supporters, tools, and items.
