Well I just found out someone I thought was in their teen years were alive in 1985, so it goes pretty old (that sounds rude but I'm not being disrespectful)

I don't think it goes too young, though

Everyone can at least read and write

I'd say youngest is around 9 or 10

Pokemon has been around for ~30 years. If you were young enough when it started, then that can range anywhere from ~10 years old to those in their 40's(perhaps older… but the odds are rather slim).

I taught myself how to read when I was 3 I tested on a 12th grade level in kindergarten
