    Magearna!!!

    Volcanion is cool and all, buuuut, it has literally nothing to it, no story or reason for exist.

    It also doesn't look as cool

    It was built to protect Magearna!

    If memory serves, anyways

    Even if that wasn't its purpose, it is still caring for it and all other Pokémon, literally risking its life to protect others

    Well, specifically, it adopted magearna as its charge, though that was not its purpose. And though it does protect other pokemon, plenty of other pokemon do the exact same thing.

    Not saying its a bad pokemon, but it doesn't have the coolest design, and seems to have just been thrown into the games with no purpose like Zeraora, Meloetta, .

    Magearna is just the better of the two for having a reason for existing, having a cool design, and is just a more well thought out pokemon.

    Volcanion is still cool though. Its type combo is fun and the steam engine concept is one of my favorites, along with gears and clocks (I wish there were more)

    What if we got another Kalos Legends game (probably far into the future (not Kalos future I mean our future)) where it shows more of the built Pokémon?

    Or maybe Alola since Magearna is in the Alola Dex
