What game engine should I use to make a Pokemon MMO Fangame?
Hi, it's me Dan.
I am already learning the ropes of game design by toying around with RPG Makers. But, even tho they can be customised, MMO features, as I heard, wouldnt come easy to be brough about by using them.
I wanna give something back to the makers and fans of this sweet franchise, Pokemon were the number ones players for me to overcome boredom, depressions, and creative block, back in secondary school days.
So, I wanna make a Pokemon fan MMO, not just a game, but an MMO. I might be doing this for fame, that is, to gain more exposure that everyone comes to know me, but I am not doing this for money, no, no strictly no. (Although I do have dreams of working with GameFreak lol)
Okay, so, I have got a lot of times at my hands. I'm going to release a demo of it by 27th February 2027. I am seriously and diligently writing a GDD.
So help me. Help me choose a very best suitable game engine to make a Pokemon fan MMO.
Hm, alright. Perhaps I should mention how may the game turn out to be. I am doing something very revolutionary, I guess in my POV. The game will be a heavy mix of concepts from Ragnarok Online, Wakfu MMORPG, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, King of Hell, Digimons and more, with Pokemons as the overarching themes and settings.
So help me. Help me choose a very best suitable game engine to make a Pokemon fan MMO.

I the only ones I know is Unreal engine, Game Builder Garage, and Nintendo labo. The last two are very basic. Unreal engine is what they use to make fortnite so I think its very good.
