this just released at the hour

Latest update: Ver. 2.0.1 (Released January 21, 2026)

Adjustments Applied for Obtaining Items:

  • When purchasing Berries from a food stall, you can now purchase multiple Berries at once.
  • After beginning the story of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC, you will be able purchase Berries from the clerk at Nouveau Café’s Truck No. 3.
  • The maximum number of Mega Shards you can carry has been increased from 999 to 9,999.

Fixes Applied for the Following Confirmed Issues Related to Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension Content:

  • When using moves in certain pockets of hyperspace, Pokémon may sometimes have faced a different direction from the intended target.
  • There were cases in which the weather remained sunny and did not change.
  • Shiny Pokémon obtained prior to the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension may not have been registered to the Mega Evolution Pokédex, even if their Mega Stones were obtained after becoming available in the DLC.
  • During missions, images from unrelated scenes may occasionally have been displayed.
  • Players may not have been able to complete side mission 188 “Start Special Scanning!” even after earning the maximum number of survey points. (Players who are already experiencing this issue should be able to progress after entering and exiting hyperspace.)

Well that Mega Shard cap raise was a bit late for me but it'd definitely help players looking to get all those Mega Stones at once. On the flip side, that's a ton more XP Candies that you can buy at once. 1,249 Small ones = 999.2k XP… or pretty much taking a freshly hatched Pokémon(if breeding exists in Z-A… you know I didn't even note if it was possible lol) but can pretty much take a low level and make it level 100 if its not in the Slow XP group.

The Berry change was also too little/too late for me but its not like I really bought Berries all that much save for that one side mission that required it.

I've been swallowed up by Nintendo Online though… Ocarina of Time beckons me since I'm at the Forest Temple and its a real adjustment with no N64 controller. Can't aim a Slingshot/Bow for the life of me(how I got the Slingshot upgrades I'll never know) and two of the C-Buttons is relegated to R-stick while Y and X are left-C and down-C respectively.

Edit: God I'm rusty… I had to use a bleeping Fairy on Phantom Ganon because my hand-eye coordination sucks. I used to be able to kick his butt back in the day but my reaction timing is just off to the point where I'm dreading the actual fight with the guy. Wonder if Biggoron Sword would have made a difference… meh.
