What's the plan to save this game?

Question for the devs and a general discussion for the community (what's left of it). What is the plan to save the game? Do you actually have one? From what I've seen you just don't care anymore or have no idea what you are doing. The license journey was the nail in the coffin, but even apart from that there's so many other issues:

  • Newly released pokemon being way too overpowered ruining the games for everyone else
  • The same said pokemon getting nerfed to the point where people don't want to play them anymore once they become available to everyone
  • Network issues that have been going on for years.
  • "Balance" changes that literally make no sense. Pokemon that are underpowered or hardly used getting no buffs or even nerfs, whilst pokemon that are fine or already strong getting buffed (e.g icicle spear Glaceon buff and Garchomp dig/quake nerf)
  • Player base being so small you're matched with the same 9 people almost every game
  • Terrible matchmaking
  • Absurd pricing for skins and other content in the game. You could've made so much more money had they been cheaper.

I'm sure there's many more which others have indicated, feel free to add your own. Latest patch notes were so dreary it's not even worth discussing. The Legendary birds are indicated to be the next releases. After playing around with Zapdos I'll personally be off this game as it's a complete waste of time now and there's no sign it's going to be saved.

Your conclusion is correct, I myself haven't played it for months... unfortunately it's a hopeless mess, and I was really into it from the get go.

The sad truth is that it is a dying game. By the time the devs fix it the playerbase will have moved on. A similar fate befell Zooba (another MOBA) as by the time they fixed their mistakes and made it less P2W the game had lost all its players.
