Duraludon VMAX bug?

Just played a game where my duraludon VMAX was taking damage from an opposing Arceus vstar despite it having double turbo energy attached and no path to the peak in play. Other possible cards in play that could've caused a buggy interaction included coating energy and choice belt also attached to Arceus vstar. Anyone else had this happen?
