In my opinion I love them both the same. They are my favorite games of all time

Z-A ranks above Arceus for me, mostly due to the fact that Z-A doesn't want us to earn around 2,000 research points to advance the story. And you can catch the box Legendary without completing the entire Pokedex.

haven't finished Z-A yet, but I'd say as an overall game it's way better! Both games are good but have a lot of flaws, and the extra polish on a lot of aspects of Z-A was really nice.

I haven't even gotten to play Z-A but I do know that I hated Acreus. The plot was weird and actually a little insulting to me sometimes, the open world was better than Paldea's but still boring, summoning ride Pokémon via whistle was okay but I would constantly fall off cliffs, characters were minimal and funny sometimes but mostly pretty bland, and the fact that Acreus didn't even appear in the plot was like "hey what". But to its credit, it did give me the hardest NPC battle I've ever done- Volo and Giratina.
