Trades Problem

Hello, i’m writing as a long-time Pokémon TCG player to share some feedback about an issue affecting many players in the trading community.

In online trading groups, high-value exchanges such as “2 Cyrus for 1 Professor Oak” are frequently being exploited by dishonest users who take the cards and never send their side of the trade. These scams make it unsafe for players to trade valuable cards and discourage many from participating in the community.

I understand that The Pokémon Company cannot control all secondary-market behavior, but I believe there are ways to help reduce the problem. One possible solution is to reprint certain high-value supporters—such as Cyrus or Professor Oak—with alternate artwork. Reprints often help stabilize prices and reduce the incentive for scammers to target specific cards. Even occasional reprints of staple cards can make trading fairer and more accessible for all players.

Thank you for your time and for continuing to support the TCG community. I love this game and I’m sharing this feedback because I want the trading environment to be safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
