Future Proofing for Darkrai ex
I would like to suggest that Darkrai's ability be changed to say "Once during your turn, when you attach a [DARK] Energy from your Energy Zone to this Pokémon, …"
Adding a once clause means that we can have Dark ramp cards like Pichu, Gardevoir, Manaphy, Moltres ex, etc. without the abuse of attaching two or more Dark energy in a turn to deal a ton of free damage. Making this change would not change how Darkrai ex has worked. This change would help prevent this issue from happening if ramp is added, more importantly, not curb the creation of new cards out of fear of making already good cards better.
A luxury that Pocket has over the physical game is that cards can be edited and tweaked through patches. For the paper game, you'd need to release the card with errata and players would have to be made aware that the old text on the card is wrong. I doubt anyone will mind Darkrai ex having this change made as it currently can only trigger once per turn anyway. My fear is that other Dark type cards will suffer and the creative team will have their hands tied out of fear that a new card concept which is meant to help a bunch of other cards is seen as too good solely because it gives a huge benefit to Darkrai ex.
Please consider this change as I want to see all sorts of cool new cards come out and I don't want newer card concepts getting nixed because already existing cards that rule the meta would greatly benefit. Today it's Darkrai ex, but in two years time how much more tied up will the developers be? Let's nip this in the bud while we can.
