Should we do Pokémon D&D?

it’s what you write your character it include things like their class (fighter, wizard, cleric etc) their stats (charisma, wisdom, intelligence, strength, dexterity, and constitution) (you decided this by rolling 4d6 and dropping off the lowest one for example if you roll a 4 2 3 and 5 that would be a 12 since you drop off the 2) this is also where you determine what race is your character (Dragonborn, human, elf, fairy, etc in this case though we will be using pokemon homebrew characters) (homebrew means that it was not made officially) it is also where you list how your character looks like their backstory (or a shortened version you can write their backstory elsewhere just let the dm know so if they want to tie something from your backstory into the plot they can) it’s where your items and money is listed your alignment (good, neutral, evil, chaotic neutral, chaotic good, chaotic evil, lawful good, lawful neutral, and lawful evil) it has your characters name and characters level also players name

Okay...
I will need some guidance as we go and I don't have that dice you mentioned
I don't know my level, but probably the lowest it can be since I've never played
If we're going with the actual DND classes, the rest of this is useless
Can I be a trainer with a team of six?
I want a Charizard, Blaziken, Cinderace, Inteleon, Quaquaval, and Meowscarada
I'm the Sensational Starter User!
Name: Izzy
Gender: Really doesn't matter, but I'll go female
Long brown hair that's on a ponytail, hazel eyes, wears all black (black jacket, black shirt, black jeans, black boots)
She's adventurous and out going, always down to do whatever
But she's also reckless and rash, never considering the consequences of what she does
She's playful and friendly, but very gullible and easily taken advantage of
Back story is she grew up in a town where everyone is nice and friendly, so that explains her trusting and friendliness
She started her journey when she was 12, growing up dreaming of adventure
Nobody came with her, though, all wanting to stay at the town
This caused her to become lonely in her travels, not used to or being able to handle being alone
So any time she meets someone she immediately clings to them, craving someone to be with
I don't like that phrasing, so I'm going to specify not romantically
There's no reason she uses starters only
She just does
If her Pokémon needs to evolve during the game then I'll just use their basics
If I need to be a Pokémon, I'll be a Blaziken (or Torchic if we need to be basic)
I will be daring and bold and prefer to fly solo
I don't like being around others and is easily overwhelmed, which makes me aggressive
Usually seem as rude, I say whatever I think
I will never back away from a challenge
Don't have a back story unless needed
If one is needed you can give me one
I don't know if I did this right, so let me know and we can change what needs to be changed

Alright
I'm a Blaziken!
Or a Torchic that will evolve into Blaziken
If we do the second one, I remember earlier you mentioned levels
What if that level is the level of the Pokémon we are?
Since I'm the lowest level (I assume 1), I'm a Torchic
But once I reach the evolution level I can evolve
Or do you have a different way you want to do it?
I'm just sharing ideas

So like a Pokemon Mystery dungeon thing?

Well, I personally love D&D! It was how I met some of my closest friends!
I'm all for this idea! The biggest problems are (in general) getting it to work, and (for me) that I don't really have a schedule, meaning while I may be free most of the time, I have no idea if or when something's going to pop up. And there are days like today where I sleep in until noon.2
