Do the actual developers of these video games not feel ashamed when they see the discourse on x?

As artists i have to imagine it doesnt feel good to be continuously called the laziest developers in the universe. Im surprised this sentiment being slammed at them by millions of people every time a game releases doesnt make them want to actually try. Or is it that gamefreak executives won't let them try? I cant help while playing ZA wondering these questions when instead I should be enjoying a competent pokemon game. So much so that I sought out the official feedback forum.
