Server Error 42055

Today I tried to have a match against a friend but it would keep redirecting me to the deck select screen, and when I'd click cancel to try to maybe give it the classic "kick the computer (in my case, phone) to fix it" method, I kept getting "Server Error 42055". Had a good internet connection, both of us rebooted the game and it kept happening. Does anyone know a fix to this?

    I'm having the same problem. I even tried using a personal hotspot, so I'm on a different network. I have Verizon FIOS and T-Mobile. Also, I can't buy anything on Pokemon.com because it thinks I'm a bot.

    It happens all the time. I'm never able to challenge a friend. I just now opened up a ticket. Do they work with you, or does this go into a black hole?
