Alakazam Draw Deck Advice

Hi All!

I'm here asking for some tips on a deck I'm trying to make based on something I expanded from the last pre-release.

I'm trying to make Alakazam the main attraction here, but I had to compromise so that I could have a running deck. The M Absol , Grumpig and Banettes are planned to go. I feel like I've got a decent draw engine going but I'm having trouble being sustainable because of needing 2 turns to fully utilize Alakazam and Kadabra for their ability.

Finally, even though I'm planning on removing Absol, I'm considering keeping 2 energy types so I can take advantage of Crispin to power up M Kangaskhan quickly.

Decklist below, thoughts?

I think you could (when you take out the Absol Grumpig and Banettes) add some great balls and Earthen Vessels.

Hm, that's a thought. I could reduce the energy a little and put Earthen in its place. I'm always wary of top 7 cards like Great Ball because I have terrible luck, but I'll test it in Live and see how it goes. Thanks for those suggestions.

    Lucky Helmet

Every time the Pokémon it is attached to gets h1t you'll get two cards.

Brassius (spelling may be wrong) is also pretty good, allowing you to shuffle your deck into your hand and draw cards plus one to the value you had (which is the amount of cards you had when you hadn't used Brassius).

Instead of Legacy Energy the Enriching Energy is great, allowing you to draw three cards when you attach it to a Pokémon.

    How are those?

I love all of that. I had initially based this on my collection so I hadn't seen these cards, but I can test this with Live.

Any suggestions for Pokemon that pair well with the concept besides M Kangaskhan? If not then I'll just put 1 or 2 more in there, get another Alakazam and Kadabra in and just remove the others.

    Dundunsparce

Its ability is Run Away Draw

Draw three cards and then shuffle Dundunsparce and all cards attached to it into your hand.

Attach the Enrichment Energy then use Run Away Draw. That's six cards and both of those valuable drawing cards go back into your deck to be used again later.

That's ingenious! I can't believe I forgot about Dudunsparce. I was thinking about it at the prerelease as being perfect. Alright I'll test all these changes today and report back.

Seems to be working well, these changes are just what I needed. Just need to do some micro changes but I'm happy. Thanks! (I've tried to post the updated decklist but it's not letting me?)
