How to pick the set for a card trade?

Deluxe ex has introduced identical cards across different sets, and cards from one set don't count towards the other. This is utterly disappointing and frustrating, but that aside, how is someone supposed to choose the right card when trading?

For example, I have one Aerodactyl Ex from Mythical Island and one from Deluxe ex. When trading that card to another player, how am I supposed to choose which one is being traded? It's terrible that the wishlist feature merges the two (making it essentially useless for collectors), but even if both players have agreed to a specific version, it seems there's no way to distinguish when trading. They show up as a single two-card bundle.
