Why are cards from the Deluxe pack not counting towards previous packs?
This has to be a bug since when I pull up the card details from the empty spot in an old pack it shows that I have a card and that it can be obtained from either pack. All the cards are counting towards missions, so I really hope this gets fixed asap. Otherwise I'll probably just give up on the whole game because it feels like such a rip off.

The Japanese TCG Pocket account sent out a tweet about it. I can't read Japanese so had to relly on the translation. The translation says that the cards will be registered on the new pack's dex, but not on the old pack's dex.
If the translation is correct, then it seems to me like it might be intentional. I thought the same thing as you before, but now I straight up believe this pack to be useless to players and being of no help towards completing the old dex
