Type and Eeveelution

So, I did some math.

After Gen 1, Gen 2 released two new Pokémon types. They also had two new Eeveelutions, one of them being one of the new types (Dark).

Then, next time they came out with a new type (F@1ry in Gen 6) we got an Eeveelution matching that type.

Granted, Gen 4 also had some Eeveelutions but no new type, however, when they add new types they make sure to give an Eeveelution matching at least one of them.

Could be coincidence, I don't know. But something else I realized is Gen 2 and Gen 6 are four generations apart. You know what we're approaching? Gen 10. Four generations after Gen 6.

Are we about to get a new type and maybe even some new Eeveelutions? If no new type, do y'all think we could get an Eeveelution or vice versa?

I know this seems like a stretch, but it feels possible!

What do y'all think? Also, if there is some new types/Eeveelutions, what do you hope they will be?
