How much distribution codes can a GameStop employee give you

I have a copy of pokemon scarlet and violet, but I am unsure of the rules of GameStop distribution codes. Is it 1 person or can you get 2 if you show that you have 2 copies or can you just ask for as many codes as you want? I am preparing for shiny miradon and koriadon.

Also how long does supplies last, just in general?
