New PTCGP Formats.
I feel like what Pokemon pocket is really missing right now is stuff to do with the cards you get, and I feel like I have a good solution for that. Add as many fun new formats as you can, like baby cup, no trainer, no ex, only using cards from A1, A2, A3, etc., and especially double deck format. This could take inspiration from what makes Pokémon showdown so fun with all the different ways to use your pokemon. I also think you should put cards into teirs and have have different formats like OU, NU, ZU etc. Finally, I think you guys should add a rotation, but you’re still able to play old rotations in different formats. I think this would let you rerelease old cards so its not like everything needs to be unique, while still keeping gameplay fresh every season.

I doubt Pokémon will take any cues from Showdown, especially in the TCG department.
Rotation may well be coming, though it is not a popular feature of card games among people who like all their cards to have some gameplay value, and not just the newest ones.
I will personally be okay with it so long as there is also an eternal format with the whole card pool usable and its own ranked ladder, because that will be adding to the game rather than strictly taking cards away from the only format.
I do agree there should be alternative formats, but I doubt anything like baby cup will be popular enough to be its own evergreen format. That is more of a seasonal event thing.
