Hop On My Back (Lapras) isn't revealing the 2 pokemon to the opponent

The move Hop On My Back used by Lapras allows you to search for up to 2 pokemon, reveal them, then put them into your hand.
From the opponent's perspective, the issue is that the 2 cards aren't revealed and they just appear to draw 2 cards. The battle log shows 2 face-down cards.
Expecting the searched cards to be revealed, to confirm that pokemon were drawn instead of trainer cards or energy.
