Deck size needs to be increased + RNG needs overhaul
The deck size needs to be increased to at least 25 cards.
We are 9 sets in—10 if you include Promos. For the deck size to remain unchanged is ridiculous.
Keeping it at 20 cards is not realistic, especially when you consider that every deck has to pretty much include 2 Professor's Research and 2 Poke balls. That's 4 slots gone right there. Not to mention, all 4 of these cards are absolutely necessary solely because the RNG is so bad.
Aside from those cards, you're likely running a Cyrus and a Sabrina, maybe a Leaf, PCL or Lillith. Another 4 slots gone. We’re down to 12 slots left.
And that's just in mandatory supporter cards that you need. Nearly half the deck used on required cards.
If you run stage 2 pokemon, you’re running 2 rare candies, and once again, because the RNG is absolutely abysmal, you have to run 2 of each card to even have a chance of getting 1 of them out. While you shouldn’t need the stage 1 pokemon because of the 2 rare candies, you realistically have to include at least one of them anyway—because the RNG is so bad. That’s another 6-8 slots gone and we only have 1 evolution line in our hand. So we’ve got 4-6 slots left to throw 2 copies of 2 basic EXs and maybe a couple other supporters.
Something needs to be done about the RNG. It is abysmal.
