August 19 iOS Update VERY UNSTABLE

I play this game on my iphone & ipad, and while it occasionally crashed before, it is now crashing mid-game and/or disconnecting over 50% of the time! It's rare that I'm getting through a full game without it crashing or the other player becoming inactive (likely due to a crash or disconnection from their side).
Is anyone else experiencing this?? PLEASE MAKE A PATCH ASAP!
