Pack Points

Is there any chance for pack points to be reworked? The current way to obtain pack points is horribly slow. With no pity system for opening packs and rates for EXs being very low, having to open 100 packs just to buy a single copy of a base EX card you want feels horrible.
New and returning players have an overwhelming mountain to climb trying to collect good cards. Even for consistent players who subscribe to the premium pass, it's a struggle to keep up.
It's especially a bad problem for ranked players, because there is no good system to obtain the necessary game pieces. Eevee Grove released Sylveon EX which became a meta staple and 2 copies were put in almost every deck. It was pointless to play ranked until obtaining 2 copies of the card, which for unlucky but consistent players who may even spend some money on the game, still may not even have the card over a month after they have been released. Some of the best games make game pieces free/easy to acquire and leaving money spending for cosmetics/alternate arts. It is that exact reason why the Pokemon TCG is so popular. Meta decks can be obtained for very cheap, but alternate arts drive both players and collectors to rip open packs for the big hits.
Pack points being set dependent makes it awkward to use since by the time you will have enough pack points to buy something, you hopefully would have already opened it in the many packs you would have opened to get there.
I understand they still need to make money, but whales still struggle to get cards they want because of how slow pack points accrue and they would need to buy an absurd amount on gold if they ever wanted to guarantee a card.
Wonder picks and trading don't do nearly enough to bridge the gap. Trading especially is rough being delayed an entire set release and the more sought after cards are so hard to acquire it's incredibly rare for two players to have cards that make it a worthwhile trade for both.
My idea is to allow duplicates to be dismantled for pack points. I play a lot of ranked and never see anyone using the cosmetics you can get from duplicates (another terribly implemented part of the game), and being able to opt for another kind of reward seems like a natural fit for the game. There are cards that I have over 20 copies of that have zero reason I would ever use cosmetics on, yet the sets they came from I am still missing many cards that I would rather have.
This may not be the best solution, but hopefully some kind of change will be made. For the health and longevity of the game, something will need to be addressed to fix this issue.
