New Trading: I’m still losing my only/last copy of card

According to the new trade update, we’re supposed to not lose a copy of our card anymore when we trade. Rather it only uses the shinedust. I tested it today, and still lost a copy of my card. Anybody else notice this? Did I misread the update? Or is it a bug since the new trade feature is still new?

Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

    The new system only discontinued trading tokens, meaning you don’t need to get rid of duplicate cards in the “obtain items” page in exchange for tokens to trade. Instead you use shinedust to initiate the trade in place of tokens, but still need a copy of the card to hand over in order to actually trade. So yes, you are supposed to lose the card you trade away in return for another.
