Mine was mostly a joke anyway. Here's a more serious one.

I have six cats, but it's unlikely that I'd get six cat Pokémon as my entire team. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Sprigatito, due to its tendency to knead with its forepaws. Cats frequently do this when happy, of course, but one of my cats frequently gets in my way just to do this in my lap. In fact, he's doing this as I type.

In the summer, we get a lot of cicadas. And I mean a lot. I remember one time a few years back, I found one with a bent wing that fell out of a tree, so I helped it back up. This actually happened several times, and it got to the point where the cicada didn't even seem to mind when I picked it up anymore. Because of this experience, I think my second Pokémon will be Ninjask.

We have a garden we've been growing for a while, and every year, we grow flowers, too. Zinnias, sunflowers, milkweed, that kind of stuff! Because of this, I think my third Pokémon would be Florges.

I've had an interest in marine biology for a while. Plus, I've visited the Gulf Coast once. I didn't know how to swim—I still don't—but I feel like I probably would've caught at least one Pokémon while I was there. As a marine Pokémon that I could find without swimming, my fourth Pokémon could be Binacle.

Almost every day in spring and early summer, there are rabbits in the yard. Being rabbits, they tend to run away when they see somebody. Fittingly, there's a rabbit Pokémon that happens to have the Ability Run Away, as well as a base friendship of 0, and that would be Buneary.

Finally, another thing common in the yard is crawfish mounds. These things are everywhere, but can be easy to miss. Because of their abundance, I feel like a fitting final Pokémon could be Corphish.

There you have it! Six Pokémon, each with their own reasons!
Now, this all could change over time. For example, my family's planning some world travel to start soon, so my realistic Pokémon team might have a bit more diversity in it!
