Stuck on Language Select

As the title suggests I am stuck in language select. I played the game for many years on Windows and about 6 or 7 weeks ago I switched to Linux Zorin. The game starts up and installs but keeps me in an infinate loop on the language select. I've been out of the game for nearly two months and it's super upsetting. Any tips for advice for how to get it working?
