How to put gifs in comments

I wanted to put an arbok gif in a type bracket post, (poison vs electric) but it said permission problem. how do I change that?

I honestly don’t know if it’s from your photo library you have to use an image converter (long tedious process)

if it’s from the web you have to click on the image copy it click the box with two arrows insert link into the text box and viola gif

Where did you find the gif? I suspect certain websites will be blocked.

the image upload process and whatnot is iffy on these forums, sometimes its just better to not
