What if we made every third turn, both, or even all three of the used energies would be available. You can only choose one, but every third turn you get the choice of either type that you have chosen for the deck.

I.e if you have a darkness and water type deck instead of random generation, it'll be random UNTIL a set turn at which time one of either water or darkness will be available.

Maybe... but tbh almost anything will be better than the current horrible multi energy mechanic.
