Bug: Pack redeemed without consent

Yesterday I started the game in my iPad and it triggered a pack opening out of the blue. Thought for a second that it was some sort of compensation for bad performance or something like that. after opening about 5 packs and checking my status overall, I noticed that I was missing like 1000 crystals… I didn’t buy a pack. Took forever to grind those crystals. What happened?
