Why can't games with friends count towards Daily Rewards, etc?

I don't know if I'm like most, or I'm the anomaly, but the majority of the games I play are against friends I know who live far away. I do this, because we can text and say, "what are you playing/what do you want to play against, etc".

The alternative is going onto the ladder and playing against the same damn carbon copy list of whatever influencer said everyone must play that given week.

I don't take time out of my day to play this so that I can be bored to death by the same thing, again and again.

Why on earth can't the games I play with friends count towards the rewards, tasks, etc? All the rewards are just imaginary, it not like it costs you anything for me to get them.

What is it your company thinks it is gatekeeping by trying to force me into conformity?

Or did I just answer my own question?😐️

Reward might be "just imaginary", however having friend to let you easily complete your daily quests in trade that you will do the same next match is still unacceptable, because they rewards boost in progress through battle pass and account level.

It might not make sense to you for dailies that practically take 0 effort to do, but sometimes you get quest that requires you to win the match in trainer trials, which is supposed to bring more challenge to the game.

I have zero interest in playing netdeckers every time I get on here. The friends I play are multiple World Championship qualifiers, Regional Champions, etc, that we cultivated through our leagues, that are now in college or beyond, before we were punished by Pokemon for not having a brick & mortar store after the plandemic.

The quality of play with my friends far exceeds people playing copied lists poorly. If arbitrary rules for made up imaginary prizes is how they want to operate, whatever. As much as we use their product, I wouldn't mind unlocking the flashy stuff, but the regular copies play just fine.

Whatever makes Pokemon-Seattle happy. Seems consistent with everything else they've done over the last 5 years.
