interesting maneuver, potentially a response to try to rejuvenate the forums ahead of a new game and trying to bring something new back to the table. not sure if this is more of a rise from the ashes aiming to return to old peaks or the beginning of a new era, but having more specific forum categories for help and feedback is nice, though at the same time i felt the old pokemon general categories worked fine as well to separate things like the anime and mobile games that seem to all be moved into one category now. but i guess you could say there were too many separations as well to keep track of every subforum.

The news forum was essentially a forum support and feedback forum, so it is good that there is actually a true dedicated support and feedback forum, but unfortunately it is at the bottom of the forum listing, so I fear most users are still going to stick random questions absolutely anywhere else.
Complaints about TCG Live? Put it in the Scarlet and Violet forum. Complaints about Scarlet and Violet? TCG Pocket forum is the obvious place. Complaints about TCG Pocket?
Play Pokémon forum. Where else?
I also think the TCG Pocket forum desperately needs a trading forum. That is all the general forum is these days. I was disappointed that it's still not a thing.
I am glad to see that the forum hasn't been totally neglected and left to rot, but I am not sure every board, new and old, is quite fit for purpose. But I assume we will be getting a Z-A board sometime later in the year, so we'll see how things go after that update.

Doesn't mean that the stuff you've posted is gone but rather being re-located. How long it will take, I don't know but the new coat of paint looks solid. I would recommend they dedicate an area for Trading since regardless of what game you're playing, there will always be trading in some form.

It seems right now its temporarily unavailable, but if its something important like a forums story chances are someone made an archive in the event its gone for good.
