Absolutely disheartened by support response, redeemed 100+ TCG app cards no awarded cards

I’m new to the game and was really excited to get started, I just made a pretty large purchase this week for new cards and was left with about 120+ TCG cards to redeem online.

I successfully redeemed the cards via the redeem function, however when I logged into my app, it glitched and did not allow me to open any new packs and they essentially disappeared.

I hit up support for assistance thinking it should be an easy fix for them to verify my account having redeemed a large number of codes recently and verify if they were in fact awarded to my app account.

However supports response was that I needed to not only provide a typed out list of every single code card, but that I needed the booster or deck wrapper associated with it, the receipt for each pack from the store, a picture of each of the types out coded cards.

Am I mad to think this is an insane level of work for a request that they should easily be able to verify on their end?

Obviously I throw the wrappers of the booster packs and decks away after I open it, and no I didn’t keep the receipt from the store, why would I? It’s not like they would return opened card boosters / boxes etc.

it seemed like such a punitive response for a mistake that I did not make, this is my first purchase of Pokémon cards in probably 20+ years and I bought a ton of cards excited to get into the hobby and now after seeing how support is going to handle things, I might just sell everything and be done with this.

So unbelievably frustrated.

It’s probably a system they’ve used with other issues, though in those cases people would’ve used a lot less cards for them to verify.

It’s not really their fault and it’s not yours either.
