With a new update coming with a new set and rotation, I feel it's time to post this.

Before reporting a bug, you should check if anyone else has already reported it here. If so, comment on that discussion with your experiences.

Second, don't just say what the bug is; that won't provide enough information. Instead, list the actions done before the bug happened, ending with the bug itself, similar to the example below from an old bug. If enough people report the bug in the same discussion, it will make it easier for the devs to fix it.

  1. I evolved Lugia V into Lugia VSTAR
  2. I used Summoning Star to bench two Archeops from the discard
  3. I used Primal Turbo, selecting two Powerful [C] Energy
  4. Game froze (bug)

More recent example:

  1. I used Switch Cart on my Klawf with 40 damage in the active
  2. I switch in Oranguru V
  3. Klawf gets healed for 30 damage
  4. Visually, Klawf doesn't have any damage counters (bug). Clicking on the card still displays the correct damage.

Third, don't be toxic or spread fear over the bugs that do occur.

I hope this helps.

Minor update to the guide: Make sure it's actually a bug by consulting an FAQ first; this happens too often

Nah fam. If they want that much info they can start paying a bunch of us to do QA. I just want to play on a client that isn't as buggy as a triple A video game. The fact that these bugs are happening to cards in meta decks shows a lack of respect and care from the devs that are being paid to make and maintain this client.
