Wellspring Mask Ogerpon EX Sparkling crystal glitch?
I was in a match where my opponent was able to use the Torrential Pump attack with sparkling crystal and with only discarding 2 energies (vs 3 like the effect states) and still being able to hit the bench for 120 damage. I'd imagine this should only allow the card to use the main 100 damage for 2 energies while SC is attached but this is not the case. Am I missing something, or is this how the attack should work with sparkling crystal?

That is indeed how the attack works with Sparkling Crystal. Pokémon TCG works on a do-as-much-as-you-can basis, so if only 2 Energy can be shuffled into the deck, the shuffling of 2 activates the effect (if it were just to be the 100 damage, no Energy would have been shuffled).
