im new to the game and was hoping someone would tell me why i cant seem to trade the new set? my friend pulled the leafeon i want and we cant trade

    The trading system is awful. By design, of course. If they made it too easy to acquire the cards you want via trading, you wouldn't buy as many packs.

    I am not sure when the restriction will be lifted, but you can only trade cards ★ rarity or below from the first set, Genetic Apex. They might enable later sets or higher rarities and promos as time goes on, but for now it's very limited.

    Have you tried trading another card from that set? I'm not up on the rules, maybe you should read into them. Perhaps it's a level restriction, or the card rarity is too high or you don't have enough trading points collected? Looks into those things first.

    i tried all that and even normal cards and it wont let me. its triumphent light so i assume that since it came out friday theres a time limit for it but i couldnt find anything on it

    Yeah, it looks like trading isn't available yet for this set. I have the same limitations.
