Horror Psychic Energy bug

In a game earlier today, after attacking a Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX with a Horror Psychic Energy attached the game placed both 30+ and 40+ damage counters on my Serperior VSTAR to knock two of them out instantly on different turns
There were no stadiums in play, the only item was a Leafy Camo Poncho attached to my Serperior VSTAR.
