Praise Be Armaldo

Praise be Armaldo. #0348, the Plate Pokémon and a rock/bug type. Praise be him, the prehistoric ancestor of modern day bug types and a truly powerful Pokémon.

Tyrantrum is way better, but I love and respect all fossil pokemon

I mean, Tyrantrum is pretty strong too, not to mention they literally refer to it as a despot.

Though for the G6 fossils I'm one for Aurorus.

The whole story with Armaldo and Igglybuff in Mystery Dungeon makes me feel bad for them both. I have a really long essay about feeling "envious" for Igglybuff because he adventured with Armaldo and Armaldo was his master only for him (Armaldo) to get arrested. It's such a sad story. And that's why I made my profile picture Igglybuff all of a sudden. Probably's gonna be Butterfree again soon though. But I have to say, Armaldo is my 5th favorite Pokémon.

Armaldo, a physical tank. Fits in with Trick Room really well, especially if you give it Curse. Earthquake can hit with up to a whopping 383 Attack, and is super effective on two of its weaknesses. Its Defense isn't too bad either, being able to get up to 328. Battle Armor prevents it from being struck by a critical hit, preventing anything from hitting through its increased Defense from Curse. It can also run Toxic to badly poison, or Stealth Rock as an entry hazard. Focusing on its Speed and giving it Swift Swim can make it a pretty good fit in a rain team, too. Also, it's literally a land Anomalocaris, so that's cool.
