Game has extreme lag since the last update

Wanting to know if anyone else shares this experience. I have uninstalled and re-installed the application from my Surface and think my Windows OS should be up to date. The main game menu/screens are pretty slow but the in-game gameplay is what is so crushing (especially because sometimes the game runs off my turn timer and will start to run down my action timer meanwhile it is just game-native lag that is taking the time, not my gameplay/actions).

    I was able to do a factory reset of my machine and the game is now running much faster than it has in a while. Makes me suspect there's a very deep-set memory leak. @Devs…

    I have been communicating with Pokemon for years trying to help them get this game working.

    Since the last update, the game is impossibly slow.

    I tried uninstalling the entire game, clean install in a new folder, tried it on two sections of my laptop hard drives, and it is still impossibly slow.

    So slow I can't actually play the game, at all. And the Devs only have to say it is a server communication issue. No other help is coming, even when I have pointed out all I did and giving them all the information they need to realize they messed up their own game code. It is desperately in need of optimization.

    Im having the same problem lags so much I get skipped every turn and lose due to being "inactive too long"
