Combustion Blast mechanics

I just lost a match to a Radiant Charizard that used combustion blast 2 turns in a row. The Charizard got switched out to the bench by Counter Catcher and came back in and was able to use the move a second turn in a row. Is that how the move is supposed to work, or is that a bug?

Not a bug, this is intended, it's a rule... the “can't attack next turn” is just an effect on the Pokemon. When a Pokemon moves to the bench all effects on it go away so it's able to attack again.

Got it. The wording on the card is "during your next turn, this pokemon cannot use Combustion Blast"… so maybe you can see why I would be confused. Makes sense from a game rules perspective though.
