Deluxe Bomb Bug?

I was playing a match where I had a Deluxe Bomb attached to my active pokemon. When it was knocked out, the 120 damage to the attacking pokemon did not happen. As far as I could see, there was no ability, tool, or stadium card in play to nullify a tool card. Is this a known issue? Has this happened to anyone else?

    @stretch Was the attacker Roaring Moon ex by chance? If so the reason is there is no damage done by “Frenzied Gouging”. The attack happens but there is no damage counter for the attack but rather a knock out occurs as an effect of the attack that does 0 damage. You were knocked out by effect, but there was no inflicted damage to set off Deluxe Bomb which goes off when you take damage from an attack (even if knocked out).
