Confusion About Flair
I've been playing for a few weeks now, and the flair system is confusing me… From what I understand, there's no reason to buy more than 2 of any flair for a specific card, because you can only have 2 of any card in one deck. You can also use one flair across multiple decks. For example: I have 2 Professor's Research, and 1 Professor's Research Flair, I can only use that flair for one of the cards in the deck, but I could apply it to cards across different decks, even if I only have 1 copy of the flair. I guess what I'm asking is just why does the game let you buy more than 2 copies of any flair, if it's useless. Also, is there any way to get back the card and dust I lost from making a third copy of a flair?

The reason to buy more than 2 flairs is to get different effects/visuals, the more flairs you get for that card the better looking they are (I know you may say that looks are subjective and it's true but that’s the general idea regarding flairs).
And no, you can't recover cards/dust that you used to get flairs.

Pretty sure OP meant why you'd want want to get more than 2 of the same flair, which the only reason I can think of is for binders, etc. Sure, you can only use 2 of a card in a deck, but you can show off your 20 Onix from the Venusaur event in one binder.

ah, thanks. using it for binders makes sense. still would be nice to be able to get cards back if you accidentally buy flair, but i can see why they wouldn't add that.
