Confusion About Flair

I've been playing for a few weeks now, and the flair system is confusing me… From what I understand, there's no reason to buy more than 2 of any flair for a specific card, because you can only have 2 of any card in one deck. You can also use one flair across multiple decks. For example: I have 2 Professor's Research, and 1 Professor's Research Flair, I can only use that flair for one of the cards in the deck, but I could apply it to cards across different decks, even if I only have 1 copy of the flair. I guess what I'm asking is just why does the game let you buy more than 2 copies of any flair, if it's useless. Also, is there any way to get back the card and dust I lost from making a third copy of a flair?

The reason to buy more than 2 flairs is to get different effects/visuals, the more flairs you get for that card the better looking they are (I know you may say that looks are subjective and it's true but that’s the general idea regarding flairs).

And no, you can't recover cards/dust that you used to get flairs.

If you use two of the same card in a deck then you can use same flair for both. but then whats the point of going over 2

the cards are digital but turning them into flair and being unable to turn them back to cards is a good thing for the game.
