Wonder Pick overhaul and solo battle inclusion.
The wonder pick as it is is very stagnate. You just wait and wait and pass on opportunities and wait some more and then you go for a chance at a new card or a needed duplicate for building a deck and get nothing you wanted. Feels like a waste of time. A waste of resources. A lot of patience for nothing.
How about we give the players the ability to create their own wonder picks? Gather wonder cards that you can use to create your own pick to choose from as an alternative to the random ones that appear every so many hours. AND it doesn't expire until you use it. We would limit how many custom wonder picks you can save and limit how many duplicates you can put into your custom wonder pick. (for example only allowing a max of 1 (3* rarity per wonderpick but perhaps up to 3x of a regular 3 diamond card)
Now how solo battles against the AI difficulties come into play: By clearing a solo battle the player would earn a random card (based on the expansion sets) and it would be a wonder pick card that goes into a special limited inventory. This limited inventory lets the player gather specific cards they want to add to their custom wonder pick. They can only discard a certain amount per day. and they cannot change a wonder pick once its created. (but they can delete the custom wonder pick and create a new one anytime).
Versus Battles: Versus battles would also earn wonder pick cards, random but also includes rarer cards and EX. You would be able to earn them win or lose as long as you do not abandon/afk the game.
I think this would greatly encourage game play. deck building. collecting. and satisfaction. It might take some time and effort but essentially it could help guarantee that 1 more card a player needs to get within a span of 3-5 days of work. (There will always be the risk of drawing the cards they may be seeking from regular expansion pack pulls). But in that case getting multiple of the same card for deck building or gathering cards for flairs would still give it some worth.
There is a chance these custom made wonder picks could be shared amongst friends lists. (or not) but overall I have the utmost confidence this could work in fairness for the pocket tcg community.
