Giovanni bugged

While using hitmonlee, I used giovanni to gain +10 attack, but hitmonlee still did the same amount of damage, causing me to barely lose the game. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Not a bug.

    Hitmonlee's attack:

    [F] Stretch Kick

    This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.

    Giovanni's effect:

    During this turn, attacks used by your Pokémon do +10 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon.
