Bug with beginner battles mission

Cannot progress mission for swoobat darkness deck. It asks to knock out 1 opponent active Pokemon with a darkness type attack.
I have done this five times but it will not complete, even using swoobat to do so. Every other mission proceed just fine, just this specific objective will not. This is preventing me from completing the mission progresses
