Do you prefer sets that are hard to pull something good (like a special illustration rare) or one where you get one or two in booster box.

Everyone says they want things to be more accessible and easy to get, but collectibles are often desirable because they are rare.
If the rarest, most expensive card became one per booster pack in the next set, it would quickly become worthless and no one would want one.
That said, not everything has to be hyper collectable and unobtainable. There is a balance. A middle ground. Card games do well when they find that level.

I prefer sets with easier pull rates because I can’t afford to get 100 packs at once to pull a specific card

Should had a 3rd option for inbetween... not just easy but not too hard either.

yeah I like easy sets and sets with middling pull rates I have never had luck opening hard pull rate sets, I’ve gotten SIRs from scarlet and violet base, paradox rift and 151 but never from sets like twilight masquerade or temporal forces.
