No incentive to play anymore.

This game was really exciting and super fun to play for a while. But the last week or so the hourglasses have capped out. The new PVP battles feel like they offer less XP than opening packs with no other rewards. The shop tickets are useless for the rest of the month until things open back up again. Solo battles become useless after the rewards. The event tickets are useless.

I've never played a game where they actually cap you on what you can purchase in the store with their own currency yet still give you the currency as rewards to just sit there and not do anything with. I understand it's to force us to buy things but this is crazy.

I feel like this will bring player retention down very quickly if things remain time capped. The last few days I've only really logged on to open the free packs and that's it.

There are a lot of good themed challenges which is definitely awesome. But slowly become a slog when you're capped. I understand this game is new and things are working itself out. Again, this game was really fun and exciting. I've enjoyed it more than a lot of the other pokemon games. So many things done right with this game until that brick wall.

So, devs. What incentive do I really have to play it anymore? You want me to keep playing, and I want to keep playing, but what are you offering us to help you keep making money?

There is also a cap on purchasable packs. Nobody is getting so far ahead that you could argue no players falling behind. It’s annoying, but I think it’s a great idea in the sense of fairness.
if you want to keep playing, do.
if you don’t want to keep playing, don’t.

When there’s things to come back to, you’ll either enjoy it or you won’t. The game is new. Even if everyone made this same complaint, it would take time for them to settle into the release.

    Opening a pack it's 25 EXP while winning a battle it's 15 EXP.

Also the initial game focus was on card collection (at least they said so), but seems players really prefer Battles, so I'm sure they will rethink many things… but it takes time. The game just released few weeks ago, you should be more patient, they already said they are working on a Raking mode… more events are coming and more sets too.

This is just the beginning, with the revenue they are getting they will for sure grab it and improve so players don't leave.

But don't get me wrong, you should give your opinion and point what you think need to improve, but no need to stress over it now… it's too early, but if in 2 or 3 months there is no significant changes then yes you can start to panic lol
