Pokemon vanished from my opening hand

My hand had two Lunatone in it, I played one into the active spot and looked away from the screen while I waited for my opponent to select theirs.

When I looked back, I was being prompted to place something on the bench but my second Lunatone was just gone. Scrolling my hand either way did not reveal it.

Better yet it showed that I only had 5 cards in my hand, 53 in my deck and 1 on my field, making for a total of 59 cards before the game even started.
