But once again, nobody opens for the code cards, they make money from packs no matter what.

I think they use codes so someone can’t fake their product and get away with selling fakes

If the codes were removed from packs, do you think fans would be happy, angry, or not care at all?

Why bother putting them in packs in the first place?

Why do people sell the codes for money?

They may not be the main selling point of physical packs, but they do have value and are a form of monetisation for the digital game.

Indeed, digital packs are probably sold in this manner to avoid a lot of the laws against gambling targeting children.

But physical trading card packs are somehow a form of gambling that was grandfathered in and deemed acceptable for children.

And it is a degree of separation sufficient to convince people here that the game has no monetisation.

@WolfOfRavens I am with you, i have also made similar posts saying the samething. I dont know how or what they use to randomly deal cards in game, but it doesnt feel random. And it doesnt matter how you set your deck. Ive argued about it. I use different decks an builds. An it always feels like it goes through a rotation , with what cards get dealt. So matches in a row getting dealt energy retrieval, boss orders an certain cards i only have 1 of in my deck that are no good to me in beginning of the match. Taking mulligans an then starting with only 1 pokemon, an its always the 1 in my deck that i dont want in the active right away. Then its hand after hand of nothing. Ill have several matches in a row like this. Then it will go into giving me ALL energy. Turn after turn. Struggle to get any kind of support card. Then it will go into giving me good starting pokemon, but no energy smh. Feels like i will quit so many matches just to get into one that i can actually play an have a good match. A

I switched over to a Dragapult Ex deck because the game was rigging my matches to hard. My friend had the same problem and switched to Dragapult Dusknoir from Charizard Ex.

Noticed after getting to ultra league my starting hands are always the same. Every single one of and my stage 2 pokemon but nothing that helps me.

I decided to try a casual game, made a random water type deck. My first game was against a electric type deck, (a problem I was facing with my Blastoise deck in ranked) my opponent's first turn (they went second) Iron Hands Gx with 3 electric energies. I just conceded because there was no way I could win.

I noticed when I played both of my decks I faced Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon Ex over and over until I put (2) Canceling Cologne in the deck and never saw those decks again but every single game I would have both of those cards in my opening hand. They were prioritized for the top of my deck.

I have a pretty good W/L record 101/85. Got Ultra League both seasons since I started but I notice trends pretty easily. Confirmation Bias is atypical in my ability. I don't care to collect statistics and provide "proof" because deniers deny and nothing gets changed. I've always been early on calling out trends I notice and then later more people do the same but once the ball starts rolling because someone with more influence than me starts saying the same thing suddenly it's true and correct.

Data doesn't lie but people can lie and interpret data any way they want. People tend to make appeals to popularity and authority as proof.

I am not here to prove anything, just provide my account.
